Do You Have Vision for Success?

Have you had your eyes tested recently?

If you’re one of many who believe you only need to get your eyes tested when you’re having trouble seeing, think again.

If you think an eye check that’s done when you renew your driver’s licence is adequate, think again.

Glaucoma is one of a number of diseases that can creep up on you, causing you to lose sight and with it your ability to work and live independently.

Essentially, glaucoma related vision is lost due to damage to the optic nerve. The loss of sight is usually gradual and a considerable amount of peripheral (side) vision may be lost before you become aware of any problem. Unfortunately, there is no cure for glaucoma – once you’ve lost your vision, it’s gone.

World Glaucoma Week runs from 12 – 18 March 2023 and it’s the perfect time to get your eyes checked for glaucoma.

During this quick and painless examination, you’ll also be checked for other blinding diseases like macular degeneration.
